The 2020 Domaine de Montille Beaune 1er Cru “Les Sizies” is an elegant and precise Pinot Noir from a 1.62-hectare Premier Cru parcel in Beaune.
In the glass, it shows a bright mid-purple hue. The nose is fresh and expressive, revealing aromas of crunchy cherry and raspberry, complemented by delicate earthy and subtle spice notes.

The De Montille family has been a cornerstone of Burgundy for centuries, but the domaine’s reputation was firmly established in 1947, when Hubert de Montille inherited vineyards in Volnay. Hubert’s wines became legendary for their austere, structured style, built for long ageing.
Since the 1990s, Etienne de Montille has led the estate into a new era. Expanding into Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and beyond, he also integrated the former Château de Puligny-Montrachet holdings, creating one of the most impressive portfolios in the Côte d’Or.
