Tasting notes
The 2020 Château Piron Montagne-Saint-Émilion is a Merlot-dominant Bordeaux blend that reflects the generous and supple character of the Right Bank.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color with dark reflections. The nose is rich and expressive, offering aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and plum, layered with notes of cocoa, gentle spice, and subtle oak.
On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and velvety, combining ripe fruit concentration with fresh, structured acidity. The texture is smooth and well-balanced, supported by elegant tannins that bring both structure and finesse. The finish is long, savory, and refined, highlighting the wine’s depth and harmony.
