The 2021 Domaine de Montcalmès Terrasses du Larzac is a refined and structured Languedoc red, crafted from 60% Syrah, 20% Grenache, and 20% Mourvèdre, and produced under certified organic farming.
In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and expressive, opening with aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, layered with violet, Mediterranean garrigue herbs, and subtle spice.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet beautifully balanced, combining ripe dark fruit concentration with silky tannins and vibrant acidity. Notes of licorice, warm spices, and cocoa emerge toward a long, elegant finish that highlights both depth and freshness.
