What Makes Le Puy Different?
Le Puy is a family estate in the Entre-deux-Mers area of Bordeaux, farmed biodynamically for over four centuries. That is not a typo: this is not a recent conversion to sustainability made for marketing purposes.
The Amoreau family has worked the same land without chemicals or synthetic treatments for generations, long before the language of biodynamics existed.
The estate's wines are made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, but the philosophy behind them, the deep respect for soil health, natural cycles, and minimal intervention, is what separates them from the bulk of Bordeaux production.

The highlight of this Le Puy chapter is the visit to Kuala Lumpur of Frédérique Roine, Business Development Director for France and Export at Le Puy. Frédérique is one of the people responsible for bringing Le Puy to markets around the world, and her knowledge of the estate, its wines, and the thinking behind them is as deep as it gets.
